Working closely with the manufacturers ensuring strict deadlines are followed against the critical path for all stages of sampling including SMS, constantly working to achieve the correct prices and margins. Would suit a candidate passionate about product development and working for a luxury brand. Strong communication skills required and the ability to work in a high pressured environment

A unique opportunity has arisen for a Buyer to join the Novelty Gift & Toys team of this successful highstreet retailer. You will be responsible for developing and implementing new product offers, range planning, managing suppliers and negotiating costs, promotional planning whilst working closely with merchandising, QA and marketing.

Ideally we are looking for a Buyer from a high street retailer or supermarket with a background in Toys or Gifts. Strong Junior Buyers with relevant product experience will also be considered providing they show good commercial awareness and have a proven track record in product development and range building. We need a confident communicator who can think creatively and work well in a fast paced, pressurized environment. This role requires somebody who is reliable, resilient and flexible, highly motivated and enthusiastic to help drive this category even further forward to contribute to the success of the business.
