This hugely popular, successful Home and Lifestyle retailer is currently recruiting for a HR Officer to join their team. Reporting directly to the Head of HR and working alongside the Training Manager, you will be responsible for providing HR support and service to both the stores and head office, ensuring they are operating the correct HR policies and procedures. This is a true generalist role involving employee relations, advising line managers, resourcing and recruitment, training and development, and undertaking special projects as delegated by the Head of HR.

We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic person with a CIPD qualification. Ideally candidates will already be at HR Officer or HR Advisor level although Senior HR Assistants will also be considered if they have CIPD. Applicants will preferably come from a retail HR background (although this is not essential) and have the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment. This role requires a key team player who is flexible and able to “muck in” to support their team members. Candidates will have good business acumen with excellent interpersonal skills and all round technical HR knowledge.
