This premium childrenswear brand is looking for a designer to join their team working on ranges from baby through to 12 years. Launched in 2002 with a store in New York closely followed by a store in Chelsea in 2003 this leading luxury brand have grown to 5 own stores internationally along with stockists.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to fill the role of designer – luxury childrenswear designer
to work across:

•new range development
•creating and managing a critical path
•sourcing fabrics and trims
•identifying key trends, shapes and trims
•creating story boards including colour palettes and fabric ideas
•designing prints and embroideries
•sending out technical packs
•managing the sample room and in house pattern cutters
•overseeing a design assistant

As a childrenswear designer within this business you will be working closely with the owner and MD to ensure previous seasons best sellers are incorporated in a new way into the forthcoming seasons collections along with bringing innovation,

Excellent fabric knowledge is a must along with a strong childrenswear portfolio showing both hand drawing and CAD skills.

With previous experience as a graphic designer of childrenswear both boys and girlswear you must be able to work closely with the buying and design team and be able to work to tight briefs and split locations.

Generating and new and innovative artworks is essential especially when supporting over sees offices.
