The Role- Merchandise Admin Asst
 Main Goal is to maximize profits and sales whilst reducing risks for the Company
 Ensuring that stock in-store is replenished accurately and in a timely manner
 You are required to be aware of best sellers and poor performers and make decisions accordingly; should you re-order stock or cancel lines?
 You will assist the team by preparing weekly sales and stock reports.
 You will also be involved with regular store visits (to see the true position of the stock) and observe and analyze competitor activity.
 Support local store initiatives
 Understand ordering/stock systems and manage them effectively.

The Requirements

 Have some experience in Head Office Merchandising or Allocation
 A Business related or analytical degree
 Grade B or above at Math’s GCSE
 Shop floor retail experience within a fashion company
 Enthusiasm for Retailing

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced allocator to join the head office of a successful and expanding high street retailer, based just south of London in Surrey. They are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join their team.

On the role you will be responsible for ensuring that stock is being potentialised to maximise sales for the company and therefore having a direct impact on sales and meeting the companies and team targets.

Your duties will include liaising with suppliers (ensuring they are delivering goods to the DC on time) stores and the rest of the buying and merchandising teams. Therefore good communication skills are required.

You will be required to observe sales on a daily basis, ensuring that stores have enough stock. By building and maintaining relationships with stores you will develop knowledge if stores are over stocked and it will be your responsibility action accordingly.

Your role will be to work within the Corporate Planning team delivering weekly, monthly and seasonal reporting and analysis. This role will leverage data available centrally within SAP, as well as coordinate with the company’s regional and divisional partners to drive analysis, which supports key business objectives.

To successfully apply for this role you will need at least one years experience in a merchandise admin assistant role, within retail head office..

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, with a good eye for detail. They will have a problem solving approach and strong financial acumen.
